The legal aspect can easily be sorted out (Just take a look at CBC's new HNIC theme song). For the branding, I believe that would create a more positive impact, as there's better integration and acceptance by the fan.

On one hand, it's kind of cheesy to use the AIRCOM roundel as their logo... But I guess they want to be patriotic. I'll reserve judgement until I see the full uniforms. I do hope they continue to use the vintage ones as well!

Also, I like the idea of having a RCAF Flyers heritage game some time in the near future!

I like the ones posted up by 604778. Yeah the colour scheme looks very San Jose, so just change up the colours and we're good to go.

I stand by my original comment - red maple leaf should be reserved for a team representing Canada.

I bet the final jerseys will look fantastic. That blue is really nice, and will go very well with the silver. As long as they don't do what they did in Nashville and add a ton of gimmicky shit, it should look very sharp in the end.
