Risk $100 to win $145 LA Kings +145

So, what I am not understanding is, if I place 2 bets, one being Canucks winning and one being Kings winning, I will always win!?

Calculations if I place 2 bets:

Outcome #1
Canucks win = $100 (wager on Canucks) + $60.61 (winnings) - $100 (loss wager on LA) = $60.61

Outcome #2
LA win = $100 (wager on LA) + $145 (winnings) - $100 (loss wager on Canucks) = $145

Either way, the outcome of #1 or #2 would be always a winning of either $60.61 or $145

I must be not seeing something here.

Edit: Fuck, nevermind. I see my errors here. In outcome #1, I would be actually losing $39.39 becauase I didn't realize that I started with $100.
