Salo played 69 games this year prior to the playoffs.
Edler played 82 games.
Hamhuis played 82 games.
Bieska played 79 games.

Last year, Salo played 27 games.
Edler played 51 games.
Hamhuis played 64 games.
And Bieska played 66 games.
Erhoff played 79 games and Ballard slumped through a few more games.

Garret mentioned that since everyone played extra games and extra minutes with the loss of Erhoff, it is possible that this fatigue caused some of the sloppy play by the D.
Edler looked totally lost on the tying goal yesterday, and there were times where KB and DH were not in sync even though they were paired together for a while now.
