As ugly as Dustin Brown might be, he's an early contender for the Conn Smythe. 1 GWG, a couple shorties and making big hits, doing it all. The Kings are making this a very good playoff run. If they get out of the 2nd round in 5 games or under, they are doing what you need for a long run. Playing less games, having little injuries could take them to the final healthy. If they win the cup, they'd be the first team since the Ducks to do it in that time zone.

I agree, although Quick will give him a run for his money. Kings only had 5 shots in the last 2 periods last night lol... Now that's some defensive hockey!

How about the Caps defence? Opening faceoff of yesterday's game: They lose the faceoff and then just drop back. Three guys along the blue line one staggered a little in front, a 1-1-3 that looks more like a 1-4 as they skate back. Brutal to watch.

Radulov and Kostitsyn have been suspended by the team for game 3. Wonder what they did to violate team protocol... and such bad timing too, given that NSH is down 0-2!

Well in Radulov's case I am not surprised that he'd get benched, that's for sure!

For those that haven't been, Scottsdale is basically a giant party town like Vegas with tons of hot sports and beautiful blondes, that plus awesome weather and golf courses are why NHLers love playing in Phoenix, dispite the public perception that Phoenix is a wasteland for NHL players.

That's what I want to hear. I'm staying 20mins outside of Scottsdale end of July and was hoping there would be lots of fun to be had!!
