that would be a way of cutting down on travel lol

Tim Budong 05-08-2012 06:55 PM

Brodeur vs Lundqvist heh

I want the Devils to win it all

The Rangers are 3-2-1 against NJ this season

rsx 05-08-2012 07:02 PM

I really wanted Philly to win but they looked tanked after the PITT series.

Tim Budong 05-08-2012 07:31 PM

Kovalchuk told the press
"For the first time in nine years, I'm not going to the World Championship. It's fun."

Devils will be certainly well rested. NJ/Philly series was real easy on travel, some of the Flyers' players actually reside in the State of New Jersey, being only a 15min drive, lots of affluent neighborhoods in NJ, hell the Devils' arena is only a little over an hour drive away from dt Philly.

Eastern teams definitely have a wear and tear advantage in the playoffs.

Tim Budong 05-08-2012 09:32 PM

With Trolvochuk lookin like hes finally a team player, He WILL make a difference in the next round.

Might have to bet Devils vs Kings in finals.

cliffhanger33 05-08-2012 11:15 PM

What a weird turnout in the series so far, happy for the devils

clowe 05-08-2012 11:32 PM

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but IF the Kings and Rangers meet in the finals, Darryl Sutter would've beaten the 1st, 2nd and 3rd seeds in the West to face off against the top seed in the East with Tortorella and Brad Richards like he did in 2004. :ahwow:

dbaz 05-09-2012 12:34 AM

marty gets the cup then retires :fullofwin:

So unfortunate. I was hoping he would be ready to play this season when I went down to Florida to catch the Tampa and Fla games. But the fact that he didn't play a game this season, had surgeries to clean out spurs which were causing so much pain, and still apparently has not resolved the problem. Does not look good.
