They're playing with grit minus the ugliness, that's how Sutter coaches his teams and that's how he took the Flames to the cup final.

I'm in the same boat; I don't hate the Kings, they're playing hard and desperate hockey and the results speak for themselves.

there's no history with the Kings, why would you hate them

we basically swept em in the playoff series before this, and we almost got swept this time with little to no resistance

The thing with the Kings' run so far is that they are within 1 game of the SCF and have not had 1 remotely bad game yet. That says something about how 'on' the team is so far, and sure maybe they are getting some good bounces and calls. But you have to be good to be lucky as well

Definitely not "cheering" for LA. TBH, I want to hate them for eliminating us, but that's only coz im a canucks fan. They definitely do deserve to be where they are though; they are playing solid hockey with a real desire to win, no question about that.

Kes was carrying the team for half a season plus the post season last year.

Not really sure what to think of Kesler right now. He seems to be going through a bad batch of injuries. I mean there will always be reasons (or excuses).

He's revealed to be playing injured after the season. Next season, he needs time to find his game again since he had surgery, etc.

Waiting for the cycle to end...

I think this is as good a reason as any to hate the Kings. I could probably be okay with the Kings if it weren't for Brown.
