cammalleri is a freaking superstar!!!

jeedee 08-04-2011 03:13 PM

I actually wouldn't mind Nolan. Although he's 40 in Februrary, I'd like to see him with the Sedins. The twins have always been pushed around and someone like Nolan stands up for his FUTURE teammates

Dank - Hank - Nolan
Higgins - Kesler - Burrows

Burrows would be bumped to the second line when Kesler's healthy I guess. They both have a ton of chemistry proven in G6 and G7 vs the Hawks.

shawn79 08-04-2011 03:22 PM

whats a 40 yr old man gonna do with back to back art ross winners?

didnt some guy from cdc say stop treating our franchise players (sedins) like cheap hookers letting every big man on the right wing take a ride on them. Keep a dirty canadian who will pick up the trash for the sedins (burrows)

Uh stand up for them? Nolan will make guys think twice about pushing the Sedins around. Burrows isn't really the intimidating type..
Bure had Gino to back him up, why not have Nolan backup the Sedins?

Who cares what a guy on CDC says. That forum is a bunch of idiots like you shawn :troll:

‪sedin doing nothing about getting punched by marchand‬‏ - YouTube

The Sedins dont have to do anything. The refs completely fucked up there. U dont want anymore Steve Moore Type incidents? Then the refs and the NHL have to stop it from the very beginning. If players like Marchand are aloud to punch people at will without any consesquences, then whats stopping someone else from sucker punching Marchand in retaliation?

Yeah it is sad, its sad that the NHL is a fucking joke. Call the game the same way for 82 Games, and once playoffs starts new rules are in effect. Way to be consistent NHL

LSF22 08-04-2011 05:49 PM

^ lol not trying to :troll: but I'll never understand how people can have 98% grammar and spelling, but when it comes to "there" vs "their" vs "they're", or "allowed" vs "aloud" or "you're" vs "your", they can't tell the difference (or they're just too lazy)

If the sedins retaliated when they were getting tossed around like that everyone would have said the Bruins got them off their game

it was a lose lose situation and it was gross

Exactly.

Remember last year against Chicago when Daniel Fought back against Ladd in game 6?

Everyone said exactly that, Sedins were put off their game, Ladd did his job, Sedins need to worry about scoring, etc.

refs are usually lenient towards post whistle scrums and let you defend yourself
you could both get a penalty or neither would get a penalty
either get tossed around and potentially get injured one day
or defend urself, stop being an easy target to hit and take someone to the box with you

i find it embarrassing to just stand there after getting hip checked

i think marchand did a great job throwing the sedins off their game because sedins couldn't even get a goal in game 7

canucks rely on the sedins wayyyy too much

spideyv2 08-04-2011 06:27 PM

Gotta give the Bruins props for pulling through without Savard and bouncing back after Horton got injured. Marchand made the Canucks look like n00bs, and definitely did a good job getting into their heads.

lol even Recchi looked like Bure out there at some points in game 7

Hopefully Fedoruk can bring more than this to the table :troll:

"defend yourself and take somone to the penalty box"

yea because refs ALWAYS pull both people out of scrums right?.. :speechless:

Fuck, every time I see that clip of Marchand using Sedin as a punching bag, it makes me RAGE.

"Because you felt like it?"

Well fuck, last time I checked, you don't even have a contract for the upcoming season yet, you fucker.

Sean Avery is reportedly in trouble again after a party at his Los Angeles area home.

According to website TMZ.com, the New York Rangers forward was charged for battery on a peace officer, after police were called to his Hollywood Hills, California, home early Friday, responding to a noise complaint from a neighbour.

According to the website, Avery answered the door when police arrived and allegedly pushed the police officer before slamming the door.

He reportedly opened the door when police knocked a second time and then became cooperative, according to TMZ.

He was booked on $20,000 US bail.
