Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be upset to have Luongo in a Leafs jersey, but you're going to have to take on salary like Komisarek for a deal to happen. |

He didn't make an impact like say oooh Ovechkin? Crosby? Stamkos? |

I'm sure if Gillis is trading Luongo away, he wants the cap space. |
Lidstrom confirms retirement |
I'm more surprised that Bob Hartley is the Flames new head coach |

just saw this on twitter Our Metropolis @ Metrotown Team Store is closing on June 3, so we're having a sale! #Canucks Everything in the store (excluding jerseys) is 50% off from June 1-3. Last chance to check out the Metropolis @ Metrotown location! Deal of the Week? All vintage jerseys are 40% off at all Team Store locations! (Excluding name and number). #Canucks |
Id do Schenn + 5th for luongo although im one of those people who rather trade #35 instead of #1. Atleast we will bring in another canadian player who throws bone crushing hits which gets the fan out their seats? In that case let the Brayden Schenn to vancouver rumors start :troll: |

I figure most of the good stuff will be gone. |

Regarding Lu to TO, I'd be hardpressed to think Burke would give up Schenn/Gardiner/1st. But he would be willing to mortgage his team's future to get them into the playoffs, basically its the team's future vs. his own future. I'd pull that deal off in a heart beat, and I'd also pull off that deal in a heart beat without Schenn. Gardiner alone will give us a good shot at landing Schultz for 3 yrs at entry level pricing, basically a 2 for 1 deal to rejuvenate our blueline for pennies on the cap so we can stop having to play plugs like Rome and Alberts. Schenn MAY have potential as a good shut down d-man, some say he has been improperly developed and too much pressure placed on him. He is young still, but he isn't cheap for what he has brought to the table so far, so there is a risk taking on Schenn's salary if he has topped out already. Quote:

Schenn's only a 3mil cap hit. It's not too bad, if he can regain his 2009-10 (2nd half) form then it's a bargain. Quote:
As already stated, the Sedins and Kesler are clearly the faces of the Canucks franchise. Canucks should just go for Schultz hard and draft a shutdown defenseman in this draft, since there are a lot of defensemen in the top 30 in this year's draft. |
On this day in 1994, this happened: (where were YOU?) :tears: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...54990574_n.jpg |

Apparently people don't know how to use photoshop in Detroit. Nice gesture though. |
Interesting. You guys see this? Quote:
Side-note: I find it hilarious that all the TSN guys are considered experts and insiders but no one gives a shit about what anyone on SportsNet (e.g. Kypreos) says. |
I think its legit... heh, we'll wait and see |
