I think you meant he'd be great infront of the net as a screen.

Well, actually, no they didn't have enough players to deploy a team of nobodies... because you need a minimum of 8 "veterans" for preseason games.

Did you read the article that SkinnyPupp linked earlier?

He took the faceoff against Calgary when Sturm scored on the rebound.
But I guess you are right since most sites have him listed as RW.

Gillis pretty smart, there have been teams that have slumped after a long year. I mean realistically the team had like 2 month break before they have to get back into shape for training camp. And playoffs are a complete grind, gillis just doing whatever he can.

Even if we slump a bit in the beginning, whatever. Only the playoffs matter.

Campoli signed with the Habs.

We need to play them more so he can feed Burrows!

at the end of that article:

Edit: reader Bradford points out that the New York Islanders did something similar last year, in order to make up for all the injuries they suffered in camp. Interestingly, two of the veterans they invited were Manny Legace and Anders Eriksson, whom the Canucks are employing this season. Think these guys do it for the free food?

Flying back from TPA to SEA on Jan 11st 8am arriving at SEA by 2pm
Total cost of flight $1186.68 (296.67pp)

So how many of you guys are going to join me donw in Florida for this Canucks road trip?
RS Meet in Florida???

My wife and I are currently in the planning stages.

Thinking of taking the Jan.5 redeye from Seattle to get into Orlando Friday morning. Spend a few days sightseeing and driving down the east coast to get into Ft Lauderdale for Jan.9. Drive to Tampa day of the 10th, then catch a similar flight as you Jan.11. A 1 way rental car is ~$250us for the 5 days cheaper than renting/returning to the same location.

I'm looking at lower bowl Canucks attacking corner tickets for both games within the first 6 rows, about $40 vs. Panthers and $70 vs. Lightning.
