Open practice is cool once or twice. I remember the first one I went to, they gave out free hotdogs and drinks and Bones told the crowd every part of what they were doing. It's worth going to once so you know what practice is like but that's about it. Sometimes there's prizes and shit too.

Hmmm...weirdly Yu Na Kim doesn't look as hot in those pictures as before...

!YaoShi 10-08-2011 04:41 PM

didn't like the fact they didn't wear numbers. Unlike the last open practice...

Gh0stRider 10-08-2011 06:13 PM

calgary intros every fucking player, assistant and coach during the season opener....its dragging on...

sell_item_604 10-08-2011 06:15 PM

bryz shutout, kessel hatty

Not really racist! 10-08-2011 06:59 PM

whats more shocking than the kessel hatty (blapunk is proud), was that toronto allowed 5 goals in the third

but kessel is still a good player

They're a young team still prone to mistakes like getting overconfident with a big lead.

For now I am quite pleased I drafted Phaneuf and Kessel.

Peter Forsberg numbered retired.
Like white on rice...you cannot take the puck away from Peter. Strong with the puck with the swedish finesse.
Ironically its his style that made him injury prone. Opponents would vent their frustrations with dirty hits trying to take the puck away. Funny thing and quite rare for a superstar...Forsberg would retaliate and dish em right back.

When he's not injured...Forsberg is arguably one of the best players to ever lace em up...maybe the best Swedish player to ever the game?
Thank you Forsberg for the memories.

DanHibiki 10-09-2011 12:19 AM

My all time favorite moment in hockey.

I haven't checked since the playoffs, but I doubt it.

It seems that those stanley cups are only supposed to feature teams that have won the cup before in franchise history,
but to go with the hype, they made Canucks version just for the finals.

Lomac 10-09-2011 02:16 AM

Not Canucks related, but at least it's still Canadian content. My friend helped produce a parody of a very annoying song for the Winnipeg Jets. She's the one in the bodypaint  lol Not the greatest video in the world, but I figured I'd help share the love.
