Wow, Pronger got a stick right in the eye, follow through by Grabovski's stick. Pronger's scream was pretty chilling, being reported his eye is pretty swollen and they won't know much until he see's a specialist and swelling goes down, hope he'll be alright.

Don't know how it happened, but I am firm believer that all players should be wearing visors.

Seriously, if I am a GM of a team I would make it mandatory. Why run the risk of having your player having a eye injury (Malholtra) and potentially costing the team points in the long run? Just wear the visor. Can't play hockey out of one eye.

It reminded me of the Hossa on Berrard highstick incident. Berrard was never the same.

@TSNBobMcKenzie GM Holmgren tells media in PHI Pronger gets bed rest for few days, will miss at least 10 days, maybe longer, and will wear visor on return.

I read the Sun just now and it talked about how for Higgins, joining the Canucks really revitalized his career. I'm sure it will have the same if not better outcome for Booth who will be playing with Kesler. And Kesler makes all the players around him better (Raymond in particular i find, and not surprisingly Higgins of course)

To be fair, without the player actually wanting to be better, it doesn't matter who he plays with. Still have to give props to Higgins on taking the initiative and motivation to find his play again.
