Yes you are absolutely correct, because in the end it all boils down to the player wanting to be better for himself. No amount of external pressure can help if he himself does not want to

From all the interviews and such, he sounds excited to be reunited with his once American linemates. So hopefully that accounts for something:ahwow:

LOL as soon as he rushes up the ice, he either gains the zone and does a spin-o-rama before losing the puck

or

he gains the zone, skates along the boards, around behind the net, stops and attempts a weak shot/pass

raymond does what alot of people dont do...he keeps his feet moving...he draws sooo many penalties for the canucks...
