Just so you know the NHL season is 82 games not 10. The playoffs haven't started yet. Its a measly 10 FREAKING GAMES into the season. You make "whole season" sound like the 11/12 NHL season is over when it just started.

It can now be official that you've never played ice hockey in your life before. Try playing one game one day, and another right after the next. Its not easy. Its tiring as fuck. The Canucks are HUMAN, they get tired aswell.

Come back in December or April if the Canucks are still playing like shit and THEN complain and shit on them all you want.. Until then RELAX

malhotra is playing like garbage. his face off % is low as well. what's the point of having him as a role guy when he's not doing his role very well. all the other guys on the team have their roles, so at least he needs to do his. sure when he joined the club, he was doing fine putting up some points, but since coming back from injury, he hasn't done much offensively. if he's not going to contribute with points, then at least do your job and win face offs. i think his face off wins the last few games were like 4/12 last game. im sure he's a great locker room/leader type inspirational player, but still... someone who gets paid 2.5 should at least produce a bit more.

losing way too many offensive zone faceoffs. hey lappierre's faceoff record/% is better, and it's not his main role on the team.

^ It seems like the eye injury has had an effect on his play. But honestly, what would you do if you were AV? Bench him for who? Andrew Ebbett? At least CoHo is playing centre on the 3rd line.

I don't expect AV to do anything. It's not his problem. Malhotra has to get his shit together. As a fan, I'm just frustrated to see him play like this. A guy that's known for his strong defensive play and faceoff proficiency, but isnt winning faceoffs.

This is where management has to seperate business from emotions. If Malhotra cant hack it, harsh to say, but hes got to go.

Quick look at the stats say that Manny is tied for 2nd in the NHL behind only BMo, who really shouldn't count since he's taken half the number of faceoffs as everyone else.

60.3% ain't shabby. I don't like the way Manny is playing either but c'mon, criticize the parts of his game that actually need work.

Also, Manny's FO% has never been 77%. That would be godlike. Maybe in a single game but even after only 10 games no one would have an average like that. The absolute best face-off guys in the league are in the high 50s to the very low 60s in FO%.
