Was at the game tonight..fucking awesome. Got some good pics out of it too.

The bandwagon probably just got a lot heavier.

Canucks won, but Lu still let in 4 goals. U guys would be shitting on Lu if we lost 3-4 or something like that.

In the end, Lu still let in 4 goals. I wont be so happy yet until the next few games roll around and see if he can shut the doors to a 2.00gaa for a few games.

Luongo's stats are just atrocious right now... 3.54 GAA, and .869 SV%.

7th worst GAA out of 46 goalies that have played this season, and 5th worst SV%.

Not at all. We've been raising our game against top teams for a while now.

I predicted the final score at the beginning of the 3rd but kinda hoped I would be proven wrong when it was 7-4 cause I wanted to see a hatty.

I also had full confidence Lu wouldn't come out of the game between the 2nd and 3rd. 2 of those goals were pretty much out of his hands IMO.

Great atmosphere at the game and a real confidence booster. BC Place was pretty fucking loud too when we left Rogers. Glad I didn't end up selling my tickets.

Regardless of his +/-, Bieksa's lazy puck movement/handling really bugs the shit out of me.

Here we go with all the people bashing Bieksa, same time last year everyone wanted him traded, by the new year everyone was riding his jock.

Not bashing. It's annoying to watch and he could definately do more with it, especially in the offensive zone.

at least he made a smart pass that led to lappy's 2nd goal :)

but yes, bieksa at -7 and ballard at -9 right now. i have full confidence they will turn it around though. manny is also -7 with hansen at -5. last night's game was definitely a confidence booster heading into november.

If he clears, and no team decides to take a chance on Avery and his salary at half-price, he'll be eligible to return to the lineup Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks.
Avery made his debut with the Connecticut Whale over the weekend playing two games, scoring once and adding the shootout winner (1:45 mark) in last night's victory over the Worcester Sharks.
While the Rangers deal with injuries to forwards Mike Rupp and Artem Anisimov(notes), Avery's return is an attempt to shake up a team that has lost three of their last four and sit at a mediocre 3-3-3. Whether he provides that spark is anyone's guess, including Head Coach John Tortorella, who said the reason Avery was waived earlier this month was because "we have better players than Sean Avery".
This could also just be GM Glen Sather's attempt to see if any team would take a flier on Avery, but who would take that chance, even at half-price? Given his time in Dallas, New York seemed like the only place that could handle all that Sean Avery brings.
