Just hope we won't be a victim of it tomorrow :okay:

But then again we went on fire for the rest of the season when we got blown up by Hawks lol

blackGS? 11-05-2011 05:37 PM

Leafs down 7-0...against the Bruins... blech= lose-lose situation. Can't stop watching, like a bad car accident

pure.life 11-05-2011 05:42 PM

world order is now restored

CorneringArtist 11-05-2011 05:49 PM

They sent Jim Hughson to cover Leafs games why? Especially if they took an ass-kicking like that?

:seriously:

Today marks the day Pavel Bure made his NHL debut for the Canucks against the Jets..

Given all his chances in that game I thought he would score against Tabaracci. What a player :)

the way he skates and speed :fulloffuck: wish he was in his prime right now instead of back then

MG1 11-05-2011 07:27 PM

It always amazes me how a player like Bure can raise the level of play of others on the team.

shawn79 11-05-2011 09:27 PM

kopitar and letang made a fool out of fleury and quick in the shoot out

Sedins are putting up pretty good numbers at this point. I`m more worried about Kesler`s offensive game. He can`t seem to get that shot off like he did last year. His shots are always deflected away from net or its stuffed altogether.

The difference with Gretzky (as I only had the pleasure of seeing him play out of all your examples) is he was versatile enough to be able to react on how he's getting shut down.

As for the Sedins, the last 2 games were pretty bad games though IMO, but 2 games isn't enough to tell, if they've actually been figured out, or it's just one of those games where they just didn't have their legs under them (which is normal for any athlete). If they pick it up and isolate the bad games to just a few and keep it sporadic, then it just might indicate it's the latter, whereas if they continue to struggle, then it MAY indicate the former.... (I said "MAY" <---- for those sensitive homers)
