Good 3rd period, intense

Tough loss. Good push at the end. Just think, if Rome didnt take that penalty, things would've been so different.

The guy didn't even touch the puck.

If one of our guys got hit like that, this thread would be going nuts.

Edler has potential to be an elite defenceman but he still makes some very simple/costly errors

damn... just finished watching the highlights... didn't like the last 3 goals.
2nd one being the worst... didn't even follow the player across the net.
Just decided to fall on his stomach and spread out the pads.

3rd one... looked like he was ready to fall on his stomach again,
but the puck went in before he was able to do that.

Been reported that there is no fine or suspension to Aaron Rome for that hit last night.

that's good i suppose. after watching the replay a few times, it looked more like a high hit than an elbow. rome followed through with his hands so it looked like his elbow hit the guy in the head.

so now the question becomes, did he really deserve a 5 and a 10? that is essentially what lead to 3 of the 4 goals in the 2nd period.

It was a dirty hit, and he got what he deserved.

The real crime was that third goal by the Canucks...It was goalie interference all the way, and they didn't blow it down.

I'm actually surprised he didn't get suspended. lol

that's what i thought too. not sure how that wasn't goalie interference but Rome's disallowed goal was...
