you might as well throw in the 6 games foppa played before he retired as well, super relevant | Actually, Tavares did play with Doug Weight and for more than 6 games. John Tavares (ice hockey) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I never said he played with Sakic
I read somewhere that Duchene got to meet Sakic which boosted his confidence and motivated him even more
Who did Tavares get to look up to? Old man Doug Weight is alright but who else? GARTH SNOW? YASHIN?
No offense to the Avalanche and Duchene, but Tavares has done as much, with a lot less. Even if you take out Sakic from my post;
Hejduk/Statsny/Svatos/Wolski >>>>> Weight/Okposo/Bailey/Grabner

Who did Tavares get to look up to? Old man Doug Weight is alright but who else? GARTH SNOW? YASHIN? | I bet you Duchene got to practice with Sakic. I bet that must have helped him somewhat.

srs? hes talked to sakic, big whoop. you think tavares hasnt talked to people who were good or met people who were good?
hell ive met a shit load of hockey players and talked to them, didnt make me better. svatos and wolski werent much either. would rather have grabner and okopso lol. hejduk isnt much anymore hes on the verge of retiring basically same as what weight was. stastny is decent but not like hes a huge superstar, over rated i think.

..Wait, am I really arguing over 2 superstars on shitty teams?
But yeah, I'd draft Tavares 11 times out of 10 over Duchene, just sayin'

Aaron Rome has done more in the past 5games than Jaybo in 82
Aaron Rome has also done more than Christian Ehrhoff so far

Any good streams? Sortsall35 on Justin.TV isn't streaming, and Atdhe.net's Gamecenter feed is stuck on commercial break.
