Hats off to Sid. He's playing as if he hasn't missed a game. The goal that he scored on his backhand was sick! Penguins are lighting up the Islanders, lol.

first game back... 3 pts so far.
Crosby's now trying to catch up to win the scoring title that he probably should have won last season...
two months behind, 26 pts behind Kessel.... hmm...... You think he can do it?
last season, he was only one month ahead of everyone before he left.
I think maybe two months might be too much...

Lol litterally if you've watched this penguins game, not only is Crosby as good as where he left he may be even better now,and is by FAR the best player on the ice, as the commentators said in all this time off he's been doing nothing but working on his game and obviously the second he decided to come back he was already at game speed because he knows his training that well
The legend of Cros continues

How can you say there was no comparison when neither has done anything that stood above the other at the time? They were both putting up big regular season points but nothing more.
It was a fair comparison but now it's obviously not.

I remember hearing how much better Ovie was cause of his points and highlight reel goals, not to mention lots of Crosby haters, even on here.

Meh. Never a comparison for me. I've always had a sense of the difference between Crosby and Ovie's ilk. Lots of people I know who know their hockey agree. Its about character, not stats and flashiness / highlight reel goals.
Look at Bure and Linden. Who would you build your team around? Not taking anything away from Bure - I'm a huge Bure fan - or Ovie for that matter, just saying, its character people who are true leaders in the game.

Ovechkin needs a good coach, BB sucks and is most likely on his last year.
