this years draft sucks

murd0c 06-24-2011 04:51 PM

It's kinda funny that not many teams are congratulating the Bruins of winning the cup

Osaka 06-24-2011 04:52 PM

spoon.ek9 06-24-2011 04:52 PM

What do you mean by how they won it?

There were a ton of people calling Vancouver as the most hated team in NHL.
And if Canucks sneaked in 4 nailbiter games and got completely destroyed 3 games,
people would be saying Canucks got lucky and didn't really deserve the cup.

So I guess no one would have been congratulation either team.

Yes they were a very good team and yes thomas was a great goalie but those fucking refs had to have been paid off calling so many penalties on van and not so much on boston.. The nhl suspending rome for the late hit because of the severity of the injury yet doing shit all when one of our players gets so injured he's almost not able to fly back for game 7 with the rest of the team... We may not have won, but if we didn't have so many stupid calls against us it wouldve been a better chance

the penalty ratio was pretty close. The big issue is the timing the penalty's were called

MR_BIGGS 06-24-2011 05:17 PM

I wouldn't go as far as say the referees were paid, but the Rome hit completely changed how the refs started calling games. They let a lot more go after game 3 which worked to the Bruins advantage. All season the Canucks made teams pay that tried playing the back alley style of game by scoring on the PP. If the PP was clicking we win the cup. With that being said, the shit they let go in front of the net on the PP was crazy. You could get away with murder.

murd0c 06-24-2011 05:22 PM

Brouwer off to the caps fuck ya

van19 06-24-2011 05:22 PM

DarrenDreger Darren Dreger
Capitals acquire Troy Brouwer from Chic for Caps first round pick, 26th overall.

spideyv2 06-24-2011 05:22 PM

Troy Brouwer traded to the Caps, could that mean Laich isn't gonna be re-signed? :O

MR_BIGGS 06-24-2011 05:24 PM

If goalie John Gibson is still there I wonder if the Canucks take him.

Grandmaster TSE 06-24-2011 05:27 PM
