I don't get why we got rid of Oreo. Him and Volpatti seem to be the same kind of player and neither are fighters.

Oreo was pretty solid, physical player as well but didn't have the scoring touch.. Neither does volpatti I guess.

IIRC, Oreo was on the ice when Danny was a punching bag, Oreo didn't drop the gloves and didn't do shit to protect him. I'd rather have Volpatti over Oreo anyday, and having him out for the whole season is a pretty big loss.

But lets admit it, having a 60% MayRay back doesn't really improve the team skillwise, but it makes the team even softer than last season. I always thought the team had to get grittier on the 3rd/4th line as one of the goals going into this season.

Yeah..I liked Oreo but this was hard to watch. Marchand clotheslines Ehrhoff, hipchecks Daniel, Mcquaid fights Ehrhoff (probably had a separated shoulder at the time) and he's just standing there watching.
