Also, instead of focusing on Air HOFF's 50 points last season, consider what he did in the playoffs points-wise...

"We're not aware of any defects relating to Qualifying Offers tendered by NSH to certain of team's players as several media outlets reported
| There was talk that Nashville improperly filed the QO to their RFAs, making Weber, O'Reilly, Kostitsyn, etc.. a UFA, like what happened to Chicago a couple years ago with a couple of their players. haha could you imagine.

actually it looks like Weber wasn't affected Quote:

NSH players in question include S Kostitsyn, Spaling, Halischuk and C O'Reilly as well as three minor league players.
| NHL says it is not aware of any issues, NHLPA is still saying they investigating. So it sounds like some of the NSH players complaining to their union that they did not receive the QO on time.

What "slimy" moves has Gillis made?

GM 2 vs CHI - 1 Assist. Daniel Sedin 1 (power play) (Christian Ehrhoff, Ryan Kesler)
GM 3 vs CHI - 1 Goal 1 Assist. Christian Ehrhoff 1 (power play) (Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin) / Mikael Samuelsson 1 (Henrik Sedin, Christian Ehrhoff)
GM 4 vs CHI - 1 Assist. Daniel Sedin 4 (power play) (Christian Ehrhoff, Ryan Kesler)
GM 1 vs NAS - 2 Assists. Ryan Kesler 1 (power play) (Christian Ehrhoff, Daniel Sedin) / Ryan Kesler 2 (power play) (Mikael Samuelsson, Christian Ehrhoff)
GM 2 vs NAS 1 Goal. 2 Assists. Christian Ehrhoff 2 (Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin) / Alexander Edler 2 (Ryan Kesler, Christian Ehrhoff) / Ryan Kesler 3 (power play) (Henrik Sedin, Christian Ehrhoff)
GM 1 vs SJ 1 Assist. Henrik Sedin 2 (power play) (Christian Ehrhoff, Ryan Kesler)
GM 2 vs SJ 1 Assist. Raffi Torres 2 (Christian Ehrhoff, Jannik Hansen)
GM 6 vs BOS 1 Assist. Henrik Sedin 3 (power play), Assists: Daniel Sedin, Christian Ehrhoff
If you look at it, he got most of his points by playing on the PP with the Sedins and Kesler. If our Art Ross(s) / Selke are producing, he produces.
I rather pay the $5 million to Edler who wasn't offensively productive in the playoffs but he was a beast out there hitting everything that moved.

Does anyone know how bad the lineups are at the team store sale?
I heard 20% off all jersey's and 40% off all 40th anniversary stuff.

I remember some time last here Hoff was interviewed by GermanTV during the Olympics that he wanted to finish his career in Germany so that his daughter could go to school there. I believe his daughter is two years old right now and she's probably going to school at 6. So obviously making as much money as he can in his last 4 years as an NHL player is his priority, in my opinion. I guess it is quite understandable as he does have a family to support.
This is just some insider info from German media.

i dunno if it's just me, but the argument that guys need more money for their family seems a little moot. is your family really going to feel the difference between you earning $4.5mil vs $5.5mil?
if it were my father in the NHL, i'd much rather him be happy with his career than worry about any extra cash he could pick up along the way.
