The team's defensive coverage in its own zone was horrible in the third period. It was Bieksa's heroics in stopping that empty net goal and putting a snapshot past Giguere that helped us win.

For the past few shootouts,
I think all of the successful shots were from quick snap shots.

All the attempts with them skating in close didn't seem to work.
They always run out of room.

I think its because goalies know not to bite on the first or 2nd fake. Thats wat made Morrison and Linden so good in shootouts b4.

Yeah, those quick snapshots are not easy to read.
Catches goalies off guard. I never expected Raymond to release a shot from there. lol

O'Brien did that horse collar move on Burrows' face in the 3rd period. What a douche. It was funny watching Burrows' and S.O.B. jawing at each other in the penalty box.

I noticed that the past 11 out of the last 13 games we've played have been a 1 goal game. At least we're winning most of it or getting at least a point :)

I bet the read on Mason was either the spinorama or 2 dekes and the backhand if he comes in from his right side like he did on 3 of his last 4 attempts not including tonight.
