#NHL news. Scratch Sami Salo of the UFA list. He re-signs in with #Canucks. Working on the details but believed to be a 1 year deal at 2M.

Whatever, eff him if he thinks $500K a year or all this frontloading B.S. with the money he makes is worth living in an absolute shithole like Buffalo........... you know if a player signs a deal like that, doesn't it pretty much tell you that he only plans on playing decently for another 2-3 years and then slinking off into obscurity? You'd like to think these guys have too much pride to do that, but there's enough Paycheck Penner's in the league to warrant that line of thinking...

Shirokov has signed with CSKA Moscow in the KHL. 3 year deal. Damn I was really looking forward to seeing this guy break out in the NHL.

Pittsburgh Penguins general manager Ray Shero announced that they have withdrawn their contract offer to unrestricted free agent Jaromir Jagr. The offer reportedly was a one year, $2 millon deal.
