I guess it's one of those top prospect for top prospect. Just Cody is more developed currently than Kassian. Hopefully Kassian bring something out of his ass.

At least we will see him getting top 6 ice times and develop into a consistent elite player

Wow, thats a brutal trade for the Canucks. Gragnani reminds me a lot of MA Bergeron, has some offensive talent but is a total liability in his own end and panics at times. Kassian I honestly do not see developing into a talent like Cody.

I'm so sad right now. This just ruined my day, seriously. I cannot believe this.
CoHo, I wish you well in Buffalo. I truly believe your future is bright and this will come back to haunt us Canucks fans.
Sad beyond words. Wow.

I love Coho and believe in his upside, but this is a decent right now hockey deal for us. We need to look beyond the emotional attachment to Coho. You have to give up something to get something back

We'll be fine; Yeah, it's tough to see Cody go, but I think we are in win-now mode and Kassian adds some much needed grit to this team right now.

In all seriousness, when was Cody going to fit in? What if his back problems come back and he's a complete bust. They've been "developing" him for a while now.. I think Kassian's size, and grit is what we need. I've watched him, he's not a bad skater, he goes to the dirty areas and can stand up for himself and team mates.

Problem is that if Kesler was down like last year, who is going to replace him?
Pahlsson is third pairing, Malhotra is 4th.
Kassian better become Lucic in the playoffs or a lot of ppl are gonna be pissed.

I rather MG pick up Knuble instead of losing Coho. Could have a similar type veteren player for playoff run.
All the best Coho. Fwwwwwwwk.
