Well yea, when your agent etc won't come out and directly say that they never asked for a trade that provokes thought

But IMO I highly doubt they ever anticipated this move or forced it, no matter what his dad/agent thinks, I think cody could have "suffered" 3rd line minutes for a couple years to have the chance at a cup over the eagerness to find his own 2nd/1st line position on another team.

Kassian looked good out there. Battled hard for the puck, showed his strength and speed and also made some nice passes and plays. He showed a better hockey IQ/sense than people give him credit for.

Could? i think he would have. I think everyone knows that u may not have alot of chances to play for the cup. Cody aint stupid, why would he leave the Canucks who have the greatest chance to play for it. Linden and Bure only played for the Cup once. Iginla once aswell, and the list goes on.
