WHY THE FUCK DOES AV ALWAYS PUT RAYMOND IN :fuuuuu:

Bonka 02-28-2012 07:45 PM

Serves them right for playing like that against a low scoring team.

coho would have scored :okay:

dinamix 02-28-2012 07:45 PM

coho coulda been useful for shootouts

Vale46Rossi 02-28-2012 07:45 PM

Although we lost... made my day when Raymond fell after his spin-o-rama.

LOL

Durrann 02-28-2012 07:46 PM

Should've put luuu in shoot out :) lol

That was a brutal spinorama. He was pretty much stopped.

XplicitLuder 02-28-2012 07:46 PM

oh well :x

winson604 02-28-2012 07:46 PM

Lost another game after leading after 2? boooo

As if Raymond isn't already pissing me off he finds a way to make me even more mad. I'm not surprised it was stopped as Raymond is so not slick at pulling that move in 1 motion he gives the goalie a chance to stop it.

b0unce. [?] 02-28-2012 07:47 PM

schneids played well. team needs to score! and raymond's spin move was so poorly executed.

Gh0stRider 02-28-2012 07:47 PM

damn...nice move

cliffhanger33 02-28-2012 07:47 PM

he has a lag time between his spin and pulling the puck in. it would be 'very hard to stop' if he went in one slick motion

I blame the loss on the long grueling road trip :accepted:

Not really racist! 02-28-2012 07:48 PM

in typical canuck fashion...

see.lai 02-28-2012 07:48 PM

i wish we traded raymond instead..

What's wrong with coho on wing? :tears:

Or if he went high on the backhand like how Bertuzzi did it.

Too bad they didn't play Kassim on the shootout.

Yeah but either side down-low was covered if you saw Mike's legs. Only chance was if the move somehow was further out and the spin was tighter (instead of wider) so that he could pull in for a roofer-backhand.

There goes the unstoppable theory. It's a harder save than some moves, that's all it is.

At least spell Kassian's name right.

jeedee 02-28-2012 08:03 PM

It is clear to many people why the Canucks cannot get rid of Mason Raymond.

May Ray is a perimeter forward with speed and some skill. I remember watching a play during the Phoenix game tonight where he skates quickly into the zone with the puck, stops, and pivots to his right in order to make a pass to another forward.

The guy simply doesn't play an aggressive game to skate, and attack the net. He goes for the perimeter play.

Still shaking my head at coach AV for putting this "spin o rama" dud in the shootout. That move is so predictable.

Hodgson was dearly missed in the shootout.

Kassian played well, given that he travelled far away from Buffalo. He had five hits, made good passes. -did take some penalties but didn't cost the team any power play goals against them.

cliffhanger33 02-28-2012 08:08 PM

Seems like AV trusted him enough to put him on Kes' line today for a couple of minutes

b0unce. [?] 02-28-2012 08:15 PM

raymond is just straight weak. doesn't check, can't carry the puck past the offensive zone line, blows a tire at least 20 times a game and weak along the boards.

so at the end of the day... he's got speed. cool beans.
