I'm holding my donation til the end of the season.
$10 for every playoff win + if we win the Cup, the $ amount of the Conn Smythe winner. E.g. $160 + $33 if Henrik is the MVP.
Anyone wanna join me?
My friends and I agreed to double our usual bets against eachother and the winner would donate. I got enough get 2 pairs of those posters (a nice little bonus).

Speculation is fun Some of Bure's strongest seasons were right in the middle of the clutch and grab era. I think in today's game Bure can probably be at Stamkos' level. He is not head and shoulders above the elite snipers of today's game IMO, but back in his day totally. Ovi in his prime was a similar type of player, except Ovi is definitely more physical. Bure was no sissy, he could stand up for himself just fine, but he was never a player you would expect to lay you out at any time.
Goalies technically are much better nowadays, which is so amazing that Brodeur has been able to stay at the level he has been in for so long playing his extinct stand-up style. The game has gotten faster all around, everyone is much bigger, and the technology has also changed to help all players.

Everyone will be gunning for him regardless of when he gets back. He needs to embrace his role, stay out of bad situations and let the actual tough guys do their thing.
