Malkin too... I don't see how anyone but malkin can be the MVP this year | I wonder if Malkin 'gave the keys' to the Pens back to Sid when he came back. "Hey bro, I've carried the team this far. Let's get this done. Fist bump" Quote:

So who's watching Panther games? How are they so good this season? | I think its been a combination of them over-achieving and teams in their division under-achieving--mainly Tampa and Washington. Tampa were 46-25-11 last season and 32-33-7 this season, while Washington 48-23-11 last season and 37-30-6 this season. Panthers are 31-17-10 playing vs. Eastern teams this season, while only 5-6-3 playing vs. Western teams. Yzerman looked like a genius when Tampa owned last year, and although I think they should be better than their record shows this year, they have fallen back to earth riding on sub-par goaltending. Similar situation to Anaheim last year where Perry went on a tear in the second half and willed them into the playoffs. And this year they have fallen back to earth. Quote:

No, Chicago has one of the best crowds in NHL. Their old building was one of the best in all north american sports, when they had that CRAZY loud goal horn and organ | Chicago pre-Kane/Toews/Sharp was pretty sad though. You could get a ticket the day of the game for $15, and the building and crowd were pretty dead. This wasn't that long ago, like 2005 Quote:

the kings are scary. 5 in a row, and popped in 42g after Jeff Carter trade | No idea why the Kings were as poor offensively as they were prior to the trade. They had the personnel to put the puck in the net, but it just wasn't happening for whatever reason. They were under-achieving for much of the season, and now they are back up to where they should be. Quote:

The organ in the old building and the way it was situated, reminded me of the phantom of the opera (original film). And also, for some weird reason, a rape dungeon. Dark, scary place. | Tampa's building has a really cool organ setup as well. Much more friendly looking than a dungeon too. |
