The tickets will be for sale via telephone or internet only. Fans can buy the tickets online at canucks.com/tickets or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-855-523-6800. Two days later, on Monday, April 2, tickets will be available at the Rogers Arena Box Office and Ticketmaster Ticket Centres based on availability. Tickets will be distributed once the Round 1 game schedule is confirmed and announced.

Ticket prices for Round 1 start at $135. One year ago at this time, the Canucks website advertised Round 1 tickets starting at $90 — representing a 50 per cent increase.

Based on availability, each household will be eligible to purchase a maximum of four tickets per game.

All present Canucks ticket holders can buy their playoff tickets in advance of the public on-sale as part of their benefits package. Playoff Paks for Round 1 and 2 will also be available to Canucks Group Leaders, Power Play Pak buyers, Blue Line wait list members and other members of the Canucks family.

wow, ticket prices are fucking bullshit. I remember getting round 1 tickets 2 years ago for 80 a piece I think

@CanucksStore: And the location is? Metrotown! Our new #Canucks Team Store for the Playoffs is located at Metropolis at Metrotown.

demand and supply my friend

AzNightmare 03-29-2012 03:36 PM

What? Tickets are cheaper than I thoguht...
I always thought Canuck tickets started at like $100+ for the crappiest seats in regular season.

And I could have imagined playoff tickets would be way higher....

A buddy asked me if I wanted rd.1 tickets earlier and I just said no cause I assumed it was going to be a few hundred bucks.
:lol

Gh0stRider 03-29-2012 03:39 PM

thats if there any left after the season ticket holder sale

pure.life 03-29-2012 04:05 PM

Not good news for Crosby
@Team1040: Sidney Crosby has left the Penguins game vs NY Islanders, after taking a Dylan Reese clearing attempt to the face.

Edit: he's ok now. back on the bench.

Stop being a poorass, jokes :lol

$135 is probably shitty upperbowls

Hondaracer 03-29-2012 04:26 PM

I wouldn't pay $135 to sit in the back upper bowl, would rather watch at home than sit in the upper bowl in general really

Agreed..but it's about being in the crowd and and being part of the atmosphere.

Being in a playoff game is an entirely different experience than going to a regular season game

trancehead 03-29-2012 04:40 PM

saw my first game yesterday seated in the lower bowl yesterday row14

last game before that was round1 playoffs vs CHI ...we sat pretty damn up high in the upper bowl

before that was also in the upper bowl, middle rows

what a night and day difference it is from the upper lol.
id rather sit at home as well and watch it on HD than sit in the upper bowls

Hondaracer 03-29-2012 04:42 PM

Craziest game I've ever been to was the Matt Cooke tieing goal in game 7 in 04, loudest game by far

2nd would be game two of the finals last year with manny's return, I'd say that game had more emotion but even when burrows scored in ot it wasn't as crazy as the Cooke goal although I was close enough to don cherry before the game that I could have smacked him in the back of the head, that was kinda cool lol

If you've never been to a playoff game id definately recommend going to game 1 of the series

CA $141.50 - CA $463.50
CA $141.50 (CA $132.25 Ticket + CA $9.25 Fees)
CA $463.50 (CA $454.25 Ticket + CA $9.25 Fees)

That's what is showing on the presale page. I'd rather watch on tv or at a bar.

Volunteer to sell 50/50 tickets. Free entry :D

Not sure how they prioritize who can do it for playoffs since I'm sure demand is high, guessing based on regular season attendance.

If I recall correctly, last year's round 1 started just under $100 for crappiest seats (which is never available btw). I ended up with some $150 upper bowl, section 326 row 15 (last row).

For a playoff game, I would sit ANYWHERE in the arena. VAN vs. CHI game 7 was most epic.

For a regular season game, center ice upper (sections 308 or 323) row 1-10 aisle seats 1-2 or 101-102 have the best view. Section 308 is close to the washroom and food too.

Sat right at the Canucks tunnel (for high 5's) behind the bench. It's an experience to high 5 with players but can't see shit for game play.

Also sat right behind the penalty box at Staples Center, can't see shit with referee and the glass blocking.
