I guess that's the benefit of playing in the shittiest division in the league. A lot of games against absolute shit teams makes your points total look good. I bet the Canucks are glad there won't be a league alignment next season, they will get another easy shot at the Presidents trophy, and a free division title as well.

The SE division is basically the NW division without a Canucks. So taking that team out of the equation, they are roughly the same shittiness

Taking the top teams out (Vancouver and Florida) the rest of the SE division combines for 318 points, while the NW division combines for 306 points.

(for comparison, the Atlantic division minus the Rangers combines for 369 points)
