Great game. Glad to see Raymond's back on track but I'm not really digging the guy's maturity right now. For some reason he's playing like a douchebag kid.

Firstly shooting high on your goalie on warmups (this was a while ago). Which I remember pissed off Luongo. Everybody knows there's an etiquette to warmups. How can he make it to big leagues and not know that.

Secondly tonight, I didn't like that his teammates had to stand up for him after the game which ended up in a scrum. I mean dude! It's 5 - 2. 5 seconds left, and you're going to do the "Michigan"? The team should've left him when Dallas took exception.

Woo stoked for the game against calgary lames, who lost all playoff hopes, tmr

SkinnyPupp 03-31-2012 01:37 AM

Watch for the flames to goon it up. Either that or beat the Canucks like usual in this situation :heckno:

The situation where they are out of the playoffs, and the Canucks are in, but Calgary ends up winning the last game or so of the season. Maybe it's not every year but it seems like it. I know they ruined Trevor's retirement game

What? The Canucks were absolutely horrible that year and missed the playoffs that year IIRC. It would have been nice to win it for Trevors last game, but if you looked at that years roster, it was just horrible.

I think you're mixing up Calgary with Edmonton. Last year we had 2 games vs Edmonton in our final 4 games which looked like "easy games"

Turns out Edmonton stomped the Canucks 4-1, and 2-0 :fuckthatshit:

Edit: Just did a quick search. Canucks haven't lost to Calgary in the "last games" since 2007-2008. Don't know where your mind is at :lol

spideyv2 03-31-2012 02:12 AM

I remember that...Iginla's a class act

SkinnyPupp 03-31-2012 02:15 AM

Yeah guess I got confused. Thanks for not being a complete cunt about it... :suspicious:

jeedee 03-31-2012 02:17 AM

When have I ever been a complete cunt? Dunno what you're talking about :troll:

In all seriousness, just happy the Canucks got the win. Been a long time since they've had a "blowout" / managed to win by more than one goal :lol

MG1 03-31-2012 06:53 AM

Yeah, I'm thinkin' the Flames will probably play extra tough the two games. Take out some players. I can see them being cunts.

Hope they don't, of course. We're one point behind StL with a game in hand.

AzNightmare 03-31-2012 07:24 AM

I only remember the Canucks stomping the Flames whenever they play at the end of the season... or it seems like it happens every year.
Maybe I just have selective memory.

Will never forget this one.

i should add, if NYR lose a game and we finish tied in points NYR still gets 1st due to games won and even a step further with taking the season series. STL also holds the season series against the canucks, but if we finish tied in points, we will probably also finish higher in games won.

so the canucks need to win all 4, NYR needs to lose at least 1 in regulation and one in OT and STL needs to lose 1 in regulation

b0unce. [?] 03-31-2012 10:51 AM

fuck i bet karlsson will get the norris just off points alone this year. he's just taking wet shits on everybody. he's sitting at 76pts with a 25pt lead over 2nd place. everyone else is fighting with each other being 1 or 2 pts difference.

highfive 03-31-2012 11:05 AM

I think Karlsson has more points than all of my forwards in my pool. lol

Didn't even notice he tried that. That's pretty awesome.
His stick was probably too wet to do it. But, I would think a pro even with his stick tape wet could still pick it up.

I know at the beginning of a game/stick and pick I can pick up the puck no problem. But, even after a couple shifts the tape gets pretty wet and it's really difficult to pick up the puck. That combined with game situation stress..
It would have been sick though.

I don't think it would've counted though. Would've been called "high sticking" or something along the lines of this:

You thought it was awesome? He got his team into an unneccessary scrum, for an unneccessary goal. Luckily though, it ended up being a harmless scrum where none of our guys got hurt for it.

pastarocket 03-31-2012 11:54 AM

A much needed big victory over Dallas to help the team's confidence in its offensive ability. Henrik had a good game, making good passes throughout the game.

The fourth line contributed to scoring too. Great goal by LaPierre!
-good to see the D-men like Salo and Alberts score too.

Snuff out the Flames tonight!!

I don't think that was why the scrum happened was it?

I understand what you mean though. It's better to be safe than sorry. But, I think these little scrums add to our strength and character as a team.
