Didn't Kesler say he never liked Canadians, or some shit like that? Either way, that's a retarded fucking thing to say, especially since you play in a Canadian market. If this was any other player, NOT playing on the Canucks, he would have gotten lit up by everyone on this board.
Kesler, IMO, has never been good with interviews and he tends to say some stupid/awkward shit. I guess it's part of the reason why he's not captain - he doesn't deal with the media well, at all.
Wow lol he actually said that? That's such a dum ass thing to say
I agree. If he wasn't a Canuck, I wouldn't take it as lightly as now

I believe this was during the Winter Olympics, which is what he was referring to.

Born in South Africa, raised in several cities across Canada before finally settling in BC, parents were German, and he never applied for Canadian citizenship.

Oh give me a break...Kesler said he hates the Canadians in the context that he hates TEAM CANADA, which he is entitled to do as a member of Team USA.
He's loyal to the Canucks and Vancouver, which is all that I'd ask of him. He's never given us any cause to think otherwise. Does it matter to you that Kesler hates the rest of Canada? Because they certainly hate him.

I remembered him saying "I hate them" referring the Canadian team. Media made a big deal out of it.
Didn't he say "we hate them and they hate us" which is a true when it comes to International hockey.
I don't have any problem with what Kesler said about us and Luongo. He's playing in the Olympics and competing for the Gold Medal. Fuck any allegiance you have prior and will have. It's once in a lifetime.
