lapierre seems to really fit with henrik and gives that extra physical presence. if and when daniel comes back, i'd put him on the second line rather than pairing up the twins. |

Not to take anything away from Schneids but the crowd reaction from the goalie change just pissed me off. You could tell the people cheering were glad Lu got pulled, regardless of how shitty the D was. The way people cheer for Lu vs. Schneids on the same type saves is night and day. IIRC Cory made 9 stops and some fans act like he saved the day. Both goalies played equally well tonight but they had different teams playing in front of them. |
The annoying thing is that people don't just love Schneider, but they SHIT on Luongo, and THAT is what pisses me off, especially when it's not even his fault....People are always so quick to just throw the blame on him without fully analyzing why these goals are being scored... |

It's true. It just shows how talented Henrik is and doesn't need his brother on the ice. It's good to see a break from him, instead of him busy trying to set up his brother for a goal all the time. In fact, Henrik's MVP winning season was when Daniel was out for a significant amount of games. Plus henrik, possibly the best passer in the world, makes everyone look good |
upper body injury for kassian. left in the 2nd and didn't return |
please be ready by playoffs kassian :( |
surprised there hasnt been that much complaining about MAG.. guy looks fucking confused out there; outta position way too much holy crap... at least be able to stay with ur man.. |
Not even sure did Lappy really lose the puck or was it part of his move... Never knew he had such soft hands. :suspicious: All 3 canucks scoring in the shootout, that's pretty rare. (Has it ever happened before??) I think Luongo could have saved Koivu's shot too. So yeah, Schneider played well once again. A different Canuck team played in front of him. And just the shootout alone proves it... All 3 shooters scoring?! :fulloffuck: We have nights where people shit on Lu in the shootout when the canuck shooters fail to score on any attempts. As for the Lu vs Schneider debate, Schneider is definitely the more consistent goalie right now. He hasn't let in any questionable goals, and the team seems to play better in front of him. Getzlaf's goal was pretty soft, but the third and forth goals were quick releases point blank from the slot. Not sure if Schneider would have stop them either. I guess it just looks soft cause they happened to be 5-hole goals. Quote:
