the presidents trophy only helps the canucks if the rangers make it out from the east. as long as the canucks win the west standings then go on to win the WCF, they have a 87.5% chance of starting at home in the SCF.

Imo winning the presidents trophy is almost meaningless. The only advantage you get is that u have last change and ur playing infront of ur fans. But how about playing time? Those 5:00-6:30 start times we had playing in our own city was bogus. Players r used to playing at a specific time so there bodys are at optimum performance. And i know that its all bout ratings, but what good is it winning the presidents trophy
