i dont actually know whats worse. being a great player on an average team or a bunch of above average players on a good team.........both of which never win stanley cups

NEW YORK -- New York Rangers head coach John Tortorella has been fined $20,000 for comments following NHL Game #1204 at Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 5, the National Hockey League announced today.

The fine money goes to the NHL Foundation.

Blowing up the team would be doing Calgary a favour. Knowing management, they'll pick up some bums from free agency, over-pay them, and call it a day. :)

Awesome - dangerous hits get fined $2500 (a tiny percentage of a typical player's salary), whereas some unpleasant comments get fined $20k...

Canucks PP is 6th in the league at 19.6%. I guess the drop pass is getting predictable

The drop pass has nothing to do with converting on PP's. It's just to get in the offensive zone.

It's just getting shots on the net and scoring on the PP that is concerning, not how to enter the other teams end.

I would like to see Salo and Edler switch sides alot sooner in the PP to setup the one timer. Even though i like Kesler on the side as a shooter, maybe put him back in front of the net Or a big body like Bitz.

I think STL still holds the tiebreaker if they end up with the same amount of points as us (ie. STL can still finish first if we lose our last game in regulation and STL wins theirs)

Regulation/OT Wins is the tiebreaker and the Blues 44 compared to our 42.

I'd prefer Kesler on the point with Edler

I'm still waiting for AV to put Kassian on the PP infront of the net...
