LOL @ montreal's 4th goal just now. wow.

bballguy 04-07-2012 05:35 PM

I know it doesn't mean much, but nice to see the Jets giving the fans a show in their 1st season's closer....Less than a minute left in the game and they score to tie it up; off to overtime now.

Bouncing Bettys 04-07-2012 05:36 PM

Well the Leafs didn't completely shit the bed and got that 5th overall pick. They started trying again in their last 5 games and had me worried they would climb out of a lottery pick.

well from the sharks perspective I think they would rather play Vancouver and I don't mean the canucks any disrespect when I say that, we have had no success against either this season, 1-2-1 against Vancouver and 0-4 against the blues. If I recall correctly though for what its worth, every game against vancouver was decided by 1 goal and quite competitive. Where as against the blues we just bent over and took it in the ass lol, none of the 4 games were even remotely competitive, we got flat out destroyed.

Well St Louis is on a current 4 game losing streak, if they lose to Dallas tonight its 5 straight. That can put a serious funk to the start of a playoff series for any team, 1st place or 16th place.

San Jose lost one game to St. Louis 4-2 in which one of St.Louis' goals was an empty netter. They lost another game to them 1-0. The other 2 games were 3-1 and 3-0 losses. Against Vancouver, they lost 3-2, 3-2 in OT, and 4-3. The one game they beat Vancouver, they won 4-3 in SO.

Based on that, maybe I would say they'd prefer to play Vancouver, but ultimately, I don't think it will really matter.

Here we go. 10 minutes. I don't care if Edmonton is 29th in league. I them to play them as if they were playoff contenders. End this season in the right gear for the play-offs/next week.

MG1 04-07-2012 05:55 PM

OK, Canucks are going to be on fire tonight. Presidents trophy on the line. Luigi is gonna have a great game. Boys are gonna be pumped. No excuses this time.

I agree for tonight since the PT is on the line. Plus.. it's the Oilers.

jeedee 04-07-2012 06:01 PM

Coyotes leading 4-1 vs the Wild

So basically the Canucks play the loser of La/Sj tonight (that is if the Canucks get atleast 1 point tonight)

SkinnyPupp 04-07-2012 06:02 PM

I hate "hoping" for an opponent, because it so often burns you... How many people "hoped" for Boston over Tampa Bay last year I wonder?

TheKingdom2000 04-07-2012 06:05 PM

Anyone have the CBC stream for this?
I can't find it on their site...

tonyzoomzoom 04-07-2012 06:06 PM

Go Nucks Go !!

Noir 04-07-2012 06:07 PM

WTF does that mean "play tonight like it's the first game of next season?" Play like you have an 82 game margin of error?

edit: OH Tom Renney
