I'm surprised some of you think Washington will beat Boston. First, it's Boston and they are damn good. Second, Washington is the biggest chokers in the playoffs.

Don't get me wrong I'd LOVE to see them knock out Boston but I don't see it happening.

If Montreal was able to upset the Caps and Pens two years ago. The Caps this year can sure try to upset the Bruins. They choked a few times in the past, but this year they are the hungrier team.

And let's face it, the Caps have all the tools to win; it's just a matter of the tools showing up to play, they showed up today vs. the Rangers so don't be too surprised if they show up like this vs. Boston either; only time will tell.

Absolutely. They reduced King Henrik to nothing within the first few of the 1st.

Thomas is more than susceptible for that kind of game.

I just caught up to all the games (was at work).

It's good to be a Vancouverite :)

Pres trophy 2x bro.

Boston from the beginning of the regular season, scoring issues around the team
Boston now, scoring spread out throughout the team

Caps. Their guns need to step up, because its very thing past that.

Keep in mind, Boston can light up the weak blueline easily

LOL, he means he thinks we can take them in 6 instead of 7.
Anyway, I think we COULD take them in 4, but they might steal one from us so I say Canucks in 5.

spideyv2 04-08-2012 05:52 AM

Mike Oxbig 04-08-2012 06:48 AM

Radio Replay, booyah. Superman... The Whistler...

I built a crystal radio that consisted of only a speaker, a germanium diode, and antenna, and a ground wire... all it got was CKNW... it played all the time in the corner of my room, fell asleep most nights to this classic stuff.

CHICKENMAN! "Quickly go, and crush the crampant rime!"

Sorry kids, the old guys are getting lost in radio nostalgia here :)

MG1 04-08-2012 07:54 AM

^hory carp........ you're definitely more hard core than me when it comes to radio.

crystal radio kit from Radio Shack? or Heathkit on Kingsway and Rupert. From the sounds of it, it was hand made from spare parts.

MR_BIGGS 04-08-2012 08:01 AM

Jeff Carter can make some big open ice hits. Canucks will have to be on the lookout during this series.

spideyv2 04-08-2012 08:08 AM

the problem is you're focusing on the wrong things in life...

spoon.ek9 04-08-2012 08:41 AM

so.. I'm curious why some of you guys believe we'll win the 1st round in 4 games? I really don't think the Kings will be that easy to beat. Perhaps you guys could elaborate.

Just go on LA's board/forum. You'll immediately notice how their fans have zero faith in this team. ie. blowing leads/not scoring

Jon Quick is a good goaltender, but he can't score and this is what this team lacks. Lots of you say, be careful, their sleepy stars MAY wake up and starting lighting it up, but that's a lot of maybes and what ifs.
