The Pahlsson-Higgins-Hansen line already has a nickname, if that makes it any easier for the coach to tap them on the shoulder. It's PhD for Pahlsson, Higgins and the Dane.
Filling out my playoff pool, 12 f, 6d, 2 goalies
I've got most of my guys picked, standard 1 point values for goal/assist etc
I'm 50/50 on the flyers/pens series. I'm thinking the winner goes to the east final
Who do you guys have winning that one? I'm leaning pens
Also Sens/Caps, one of those 2 will pull the "upset"
Thinking Ovie/Karlsson as selections, allowed to have 1 trade per round so one of those possible eliminations can be my switch

I would pick Pittsburgh to beat Philly as long as the Penguins keep their emotions in check and Crosby, Malkin light up Philly on the power play. Philly wants a physical series, a street fight to make the Pens take penalties to retaliate. Pittsburgh is not gonna fall into that trap.
I hate "hoping" for an opponent, because it so often burns you... How many people "hoped" for Boston over Tampa Bay last year I wonder?
I don't really remember anyone hoping for Boston over Tampa Bay. I thought it was pretty universally agreed that Tampa Bay would have been a much easier opponent, and would be a better match for the Canucks.
