Jeff Carter (ankle) will return to the Kings' lineup for Game 1 in Vancouver on Wednesday night.
He is slated to join Mike Richards and Dwight King on Los Angeles' second line after he skated there during the team's morning session. The Kings' much-maligned offense scored at a higher clip once Carter was added to the roster in a trade with Columbus, so his presence in the lineup will be a welcome sight for the team.

Kings play a tight system with great goaltending; they're major flaw is their lack of speed and offense. They're big, but if the Canucks play an uptempo game and gain the neutral zone, they'll win easily.

My thoughts on Keys to winning:
1. Aggressive Forecheck
2. D holding the O line longer since they can match speed through the neutral
3. Crashing the net and bumping Quick

Canucks in 5.

Prediction for game 1: 3-0W

Zack Kassian will make his playoff debut in his return from a shoulder injury.
The big Canucks winger hasn't played since Apr. 3 due to the injury. Kassian will join Manny Malhotra and Byron Bitz on the club's fourth line.

Mason Raymond will play on the top line alongside Henrik Sedin and Alexandre Burrows Wednesday night in Game 1 of Vancouver's quarterfinal series versus Los Angeles.

Anyway, it is her answer to the playoff beard thing. Women, huh?

I should look her up and say, "Pics or it didn't happen."

Psssh. Asian chicks were growing playoff beards down there before it was cool.

I took a look at the Canucks depth chart early this morning, and didn't see Daniel in the line up.
Was already prepared to be :okay: before he was confirmed not playing.

I think Sid; not only can he score, but he is an assist machine.

Haha, don't get me wrong, Malkin is excellent, I just think Sid thrives more as a playmaker whereas Malkin is more of a scorer.
