Wouldn't mind signing a veteran winger that's strong in the playoffs...Erik Cole? I like the grit of Scottie Upshall too. We gotta re-sign Juice though.

Just because he's UFA doesn't mean you go and grab him. He's gotta fit on the team and fit in the locker room. As well, the Canucks have a a development/succession plan in place for pushing players up. Would Rolofson fit in the organization's plans? Do we need more wingers? Or can we develop players from the center forward position into wingers? If you look at the team roster that played the last game of the year, we had barely any defencemen left. I would think that from a planning point of view, we'd need to have more experienced defence men to keep up that depth that we had. Quote:
