Is it just an updated ip4? Posted via RS Mobile |
Fido CSR told me that you'll have an option to order it via "manage my account" in the next few days. The CSR said Fido won't have a pre-order like Rogers. |

An interesting poll just found 41% of smartphone buyers plan on getting the iPhone 5. When asked about an iPhone 4S that number plummets to only 11%. People want a '5', not an upgrade of the current iPhone. Posted via RS Mobile |
Apples plan to introduce a cheap iphone4 is pretty smart. It would pretty much dominate. Posted via RS Mobile |
isnt it already dominating? |

I really like the iPhone despite it's lack of features compared to the Android. But at the same time I want the Galaxy S 2 because it is just too damn awesome. I hope a clear winner comes out soon so it'd make me decision easier. |
I got the s2 and lemme say its fucking awesome |

You can't compare iPhone to Android. Android is a platform where many other companies get to decide specs for it and make the phone. Apple has everything in-house where they make the phone and the OS for the phone. I personally like for a whole company to design the OS and the phone at the same time so they get to control each and every detail. Since the Galaxy II I am still using my Galaxy II, iPhone 4 with Ios 5.0, Blackberry Bold 9900, and the Torch 9810... They all have their good and bad and I can't compare with each other but my favorite is still the iPhone. There are a lot of issues with my galaxy where my friends android does not have because companies want to put their personal touch in to the phone before releasing it. Also some stuff my Galaxy do and my iPhone can do the Galaxy lags where the iPhone does not. I will not compare em. |
^Of course you can compare iPhone to Android. They are both smartphones. If not, what the hell can you compare it to? When a consumer goes out to buy a smartphone, he looks at his choices which are mostly an iPhone or an Android phone. I understand that not all Android phones are in-house but if anything, that's an advantage to Apple since they get to do what they want and don't have to please every one of the hardware manufacturers. But if you want to compare in-house to in-house then you can consider Google's Nexus or whatever phone they make. In that case the Android still has much more features and customization. Right now my biggest gripe is the autocorrect. It's GARBAGE on the iPhone. It annoys the hell out of me. Even just tiny improvements could help greatly. Such as having the suggested autocorrect word pop up faster or not autocorrecting to the suggested word but only correct it if the user selects it. When I saw how android does it and the speed the suggested wordS pop up, I was so jelly. But again, I dunno why. Something about the iPhone makes me stick with them. |
Yup thats true, but its hard to compare either way. Also my iPhone auto correct is amazing... well this is because I have been using it since first generation iPhone and I sync to each updated iPhone so they copy my own personal dictionary. I barely have issues with typing anyways since I have used it for this many years. |
I always like to start fresh when there is a major updates to avoid carrying over any problems I Might have had. Plus I like the smooth and fast feel of a fresh iOS Posted via RS Mobile |

I see, but I don't have a problem with speed yet so perhaps its good for now. But yeah autocorrect gets better as you use it. |
Wow and you have been using the same backup since iPhone 2g? You must have gotten performance issues due to too many apps and text messages saved and stuff no? I always get complains from people I know still on 3G about how it takes like 5minutes to load an app |
cant wait....shieeet |

but text messages don't take that much space right? Also my old apps don't get dragged along so thats okay. So far no lag no issues where it will make me want to punch someone. Pretty damn excited for the 5. |
