If I bought some McDonalds for someone, I'd be pretty pissed if that person I bought for won the MILLION dollars from the stamp I paid for. Better to just take it and avoid going through a legal battle IMO

Yeah okay,

First of all in the end I paid each person $240 to line up and they made $120 each.

Then a group of them called me asking if I needed more because PC they can get some more...

They brought me 12 more and I paid them $120 each.

DanHibiki 10-15-2011 12:45 AM

I sold 4 32gb I preordered online to a guy who came from Seattle for 1000 each. Not sure if he's planning on doing the same as you and shipping them to Asia or what. I'm quite curious but I didn't want to pry.

Harvey Specter 10-15-2011 03:05 AM

Received two 4s' yesterday from Apple, one is a 32gb and the other is 16gb which I'm going to flip. Played around with the 4s and compared it to my 4 and it seems much faster and crisper.

asian_XL 10-15-2011 03:17 AM

the difference is like ipad1 to ipad2...but my ipad2 speed goes down to ipad1 after jb and loading too much crap in there, I am getting ip4s just because it offers 64gb.

jaebomb 10-15-2011 07:28 AM

I've noticed online there still seems to be some confusion about the relationshp between Apple ID's and iCloud/iTunes. This is how I set up my household/work and the relationship between the devices. Hopefully it's some use in explaining the relationship between iTunes and iCloud with respect to Apple ID's.

People with an iDevice would already have an Apple ID. It's the one you've been using to make purchases in iTunes and the one stored in your device as the "Store" account.

What's been added in iOS 5 is having your Apple ID referenced to iCloud. This is what sets up your own storage space in iCloud. If anyone has tried logging into icloud.com with their Apple ID and found it's not working it's probably because you didn't set it up on an iOS device yet.

When you first set up your iDevice with iOS 5, you don't have any iCloud storage space or account yet. When you go into Settings->iCloud you can set up and create your account. The default most people will do is to just re-use your existing iTunes Apple ID and leave it at that. But you don't have to - you can create a new Apple ID just for iCloud. I would actually recommend this, even if you currently only have one device.

I have a total of 7 devices. My wife, two daughters and I have iPhones and a an iPad for the house. I also have a separate iPhone for work and an iPad I also use for work. I created 4 Apple ID's for iCloud. I also created 4 @me.com e-mail addresses.

- One iCloud ID for each of my daughters.
- One iCloud ID for my wife, myself and the house iPad to share.
- One iCloud ID for my work phone/iPad to share.

For my iPhone, my wife's iPhone and our iPad we have iCloud set up for everything (mail, calendars, reminder, contacts....). This way anything related to the "family" is available on both our phones and iPad. In the same way, anything related to "work" gets synced between my work iPhone and iPad. The reason I keep my work iPhone and iPad separate is because I don't want to sync up things like work/personal contacts between my work and home devices. I also don't want pictures taken at work streamed to my home devices.

My daughters don't want to share anything (they want their privacy) so they each have their own ID for iCloud. If they get another device in the future (their own iPad, for example) then they could use the same iCloud ID and keep both their personal devices synced.

However, all 7 of my devices still use a single Apple ID for iTunes. This way purchases made by anyone are available to everyone. So you still get the ability to share purchases while keeping some amount of privacy by having individual iCloud accounts.

To sum up:

- Your iTunes Apple ID is used for making purchases.
- iCloud Apple ID's are used to set up iCloud accounts/storage.
- On your iDevice you can have two accounts set up: one Apple ID for iTunes and another Apple ID for your iCloud account. They can be the same or different.
- You can share your iTunes ID across every device you own to share purchases.
- You can have one unique iCloud ID for each individual iDevice you own.
- You can use the same iCloud ID on more than one device if you want to sync them (or group them).

Here's a tip: If you want to create a separate iCloud account but already set up your iPhone to use the same Apple ID as your store account, you can do so easily (let's face it, people are in a rush to use their new 4S and might have raced through the setup so they can start playing).

Just go to Settings->iCloud and at the bottom select "Delete Account". You will be prompted if you want to keep information that was in iCloud on your device before proceeding. Make sure you select this option. Then go ahead and make a new account.

Found what I think is a problem with iCloud backup and slow internet speeds. I made a thread in the Computer Forum.

Shaw Slow and recent iPhone/iOS?

You should email engadget about this. Better yet, demonstrate it on video
