Motorola and HTC have QHD screens that should be similar. However I heard they're not that good (grainy colors or something). Samsung has something that will be retina resolution with samoled colours coming soon.

Nope not perfect. I hate how they won't let you watch youtube videos in HD (or at least the best quality available for that video--equivalent to youtube 720p/1080p when viewing on a desktop).
The best you can do is HQ.

No problem like this on the iPhone 4 last time I had it as their "HQ" actually played the best quality available. I watched the same video on both the SGS and the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4 played the better quality one.

With that said, I eventually found that JetVD allowed me to stream or download 720p/1080p youtube videos so that was my solution.

I haven't checked out the youtube app in a while so iono if they improved it.

After having one too many random crashes on the ipad (4.2 jailbroken) I decided to try iOS 5 beta 2. It's a beta, but I bet it will be more stable than the crap I had on there before

Ive seen an atrix screen, and as awesome as that phone is on paper the screen doesnt match the SAMOLED.

Apparently the atrix also has overheating issues as well, so I think its a write-off

Played around with the demo iphone4 at work. I find it very boring. I put it down after 5 mins.

I heard that the motoblur makes the phone laggy. There were some reviews on the internet saying the phone didn't even feel like a dual core.

Good thing they found a way to unlock the bootloader. Now you can flash whatever rom you want.

Transformer hands down. The resolution is so much better. I believe they're both IPS panels so colours and viewing angles should be similar.

just get what ever the fuck kind of phone you want. you'll be the one using it in the end.. im actually sick of fucking cell phones now, which is why im sticking with a bb 9780. at the end of the day all i need a phone for is calls, texts and being able to check facebook on the go and the bb does all that just fine. oh and plus i can get 2+ days on one battery charge, couldnt even get a full 9 hrs with my 3gs.

lol you guys are hilarious. im not mad at all. this topic just comes up on every forum pretty much all the time with lots of people saying that whatever they have is the best. all im saying is get whatever appeals to YOU. i actually quite like my blackberry does all the stuff i need it to do and it does it reliably.

also for the entertainment part of things, even on my iphone, i have folders just packed with apps and a rarely ever used them. life is what entertains me. my phone is just that, a communication device.
