Anyone interested in a Telus unlimited data package?

I'm torn here... because with a year left on my Telus contract, I'm more and more considering buying it out to go to a new Android or iPhone. BUT, that would mean giving up my current Telus plan, which includes:
450 anytime minutes
Unlimited talk/text to 10 favorites anywhere in Canada
Free evenings and weekends starting at *5pm*
$45/mo for the voice plan
*and* the real killer:
Unlimited data for $15/mo.

The catch to all this is that the data plan is only good for CDMA/1X/EVDO smartphones (like the HTC Titan and Samsung Omnia I have)... and all the new Telus phones are 3G/4G.

I'd hate to just drop this deal into the ether, and would much rather pass it on to someone who could use it... BUT WHO??

Not really a buy-and-sell topic... yet. Just curious if there would actually be any interest in this.

(Oh yeah... the data plan doesn't include tethering... but with a NAT app like WMWiFiRouter, you can tether and they'd never know the difference!)

it's a decent deal..

but, if you're going to move on to newer phones with 3G... it doesn't really work..

for unlimited data.. Rogers/Fido usually do promotions on 6GB for $30 when new iphone releases. the next iPhone should release in Sept.. so just keep that in mind.

Well that's the point: this plan isn't usable with non-CDMA phones... but it could still be useful to someone who's not in a rush to move to 3G/4G. Hence, curious if there's anyone who would find CHRAP unlimited data more attractive than the latest technology. $30/6GB is a LOT of data, to be sure, but still a long way from $15/unlimited.
