Window deductible

I need a windshield replaced and it's been a long time since I've done one. I remember a while back, there were some places that would cover half the deductible if you get it through them? Anyone know of places like this? I am broke ass right now and the less I have to spend the better. My deductible is $200 through ICBC.

technically they have to take the deductible from you, I believe they are committing fraud if they don't but there are a few shops especially around surrey that may include the deductible with the claim

Well, in the past they said " we pay half of your deductible". It's not waiving the deduct. . I'll call around.

No ligimit shop will come out and say 'we'll pay half the deductible' - if they're caught, they'll lose their license.

Try to find a cheap off the beaten path 'shady' type shop and see if they'll help you out.

In my experience these types of shops have used off-shore glass that may compromise the quality of the glass to make a better profit (this is how they can pay for a part of the deductible)

I too am needing to get my windshield replace, i've never done it before, anyone know of any shops i can just take it to, pay the deductible and get it replaced?

my rock crack damage is old, from previous owner, will the shop inspect it and tell me that it is old and the damage happened prior to me owning the vehicle?

If you go to Broco, you will get your carpets steam cleaned and get new wipers. This is all part of their package for replacing windshields.

I think you have to phone ahead of time.
I went to the one in Vancouver next to ICBC on Kingsway
