OK looking at Android phones to replace my iPhone 4 so which one will kick my iP4's ass? what i need: bigger and higher resolution screen OR equal res, but BIGGER. dual core minimum 32GB storage, micro SD ok video output. any ideas guys? |
Most obvious choice is galaxy s2, based on your requirement for dual core. Personally I'd go with an htc though, as the software is usually much better. I believe the top htc is the Sensation, although I'm not sure if there is an 850 version yet. |
Xperia arc to use for now before samsung galaxy s2 releases? Posted via RS Mobile |
1) arc is a Sony phone 2) s2 comes out in like a week 1 + 2 = fail |

HTC > Samsung But i'm too spoiled with the Nexus phones...everything else just feels..different |
If only we had HTC evo 3D |
holy shit. Sensation has a 4.3" screen that like my old HP iPaq phone lol. its a monster. perfect. thanks guys EDIT: EVO 3d also looks very nice. |

Not sure if this matters but watching reviews of the sensation there seems to be some lag? |
Yea from all the reviews I've seen SGSII is still the best one. |
I am happy with my arc, but the battery could be better. Posted via RS Mobile |
Don't worry too much about lag. All this can be fixed with custom firmware anyways. If you really care about the resolution. HTC Sensation right now. If not. The Samsung Galaxy S2. Samoled Plus ftw. |
^Agreed with super amoled plus, saw one today and man that thing is amazing |
played with a sensation earlier today. build quality is really awesome, always had a thing for htc's designs. however the extra pixels is insignificant compared the superior contrast of the gs2 lol. screen is pretty washed out compared to super amoled |
Well you know samsung, known for making the best panels in the world, no wonder most companies don't make their own and off samsung. Posted via RS Mobile |
Get either the Galaxy S II or the HTC Sensation, since they're both miles ahead of the iP4. I would personally get the GSII for the SAMOLED and the unlocked bootloader, since all the other components are nearly equal once you get into rooting the phone and putting custom ROMs into them. Sensations still have a locked bootloader AFAIK and won't be unlocked officially until August - September, which is a major deal breaker. If you prefer critic's comparisons on either phone since they've actually used it: Phone Arena: Sensation vs GSII |
still wondering about the next iPhone.....i have to say the SG2's look doesn't sing to me despite being a clone of iP4. still 64gb of storage is pretty tasty sounding |
SGS2 is a clone of the iphone 4? :lol Someone has been drinking the kool aid :lol |
SGII is no IP4 clone |

I've heard that the unlocked T-Mobile HTC Sensation can only do 2G on the Rogers network? Is the Bell version any different? |
Bell's HTC Sensation has the correct 850mhz band so yes it will work on 3G with Rogers |
