SwiftKey 3 beta is out. Trying it now. They say you will never have to use the space key. It's a bit laggy for me though

No lag here so far. Using Galaxy Nexus. Feels the same as the previous Swiftkey.
Swiftkey 3 beta is awesome. I've been using the previous version extensively and this trumps it easily even in beta state.
The larger spacebar combined with the fact that it can now separate words if you miss the spacebar makes it so much better. The holo theme mimics ics and is very nice and much better than the old themes.
Only problems so far are that there is no setting to configure long-press duration, they swapped the settings key position with the alternate number keypad key, and that the layout of the alternate keyboard will take some getting used to.

I use touchpal it has swype + text prediction (although I'm not sure if it learns as you type) + chinese pin yin/handwriting. It's made by Chinese people so there's GoDialer integration and MIUI styled themes.

I like the new theme for swiftkey, but like Skinnypup I'm getting some lag while typing. Also anyone else really dislike how they've combined periods and the question mark/exclamation mark into one button or the fact that they've switched the alt keyboard and voice buttons?

Siwftkey beta has crashed twice, so I was typing and the keyboard disappeared. No big deal, it's great otherwise. Quote:

I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I agree, and it's made me realize that I use the question mark/exclamation mark much more than the other punctuations. I'm sure I'll get used to it. | I've been using Smart Keyboard Pro since my Nexus One days and I think it's the best alternative keyboard out there. Lots of options, nice skins, little to zero lag.

Nice!
Using it right now..
Could shorten the space bar and make use for an own question mark key imo!
Loving the big spacebar tho!

not sure how this one slipped by me but, if you used iCloud or Find My iPhone for IOS, you should try Cerberus for Android.
like $5 does mostly the same stuff like:
-Lock your Android phone
-remote wipe of Micro SD and phone
-send a text to phone
-sound an alarm on the phone
-send text to VOICE on the phone EG: type in "Fuck your couch N1ggah!" and it will read -it out loud.
-take a photo or video remotely and send it to your email
-track your phone (obviously)
app can't be uninstalled without password (not sure about flashing)
lots more but i havn't gone through it all yet.
you get a 1 week free trial. no subscription, just buy once. www.cerberusapp.com |

dont know if this has been mentioned by "unlock with wifi" is cool...I keep a passcode on my phone but its annoying having to keep unlocking it while you're at home the app unlocks your phone automatically if you're connected to your homes wifi.
