I thought it would be a really neat feature too...The only nuance of it was that you had to play around with the sensitivity to tweak it so it doesn't accidentally misinterpret a gesture.

Anyone using any car maintenance/gas tracking apps? I used to have a good one on my Palm way back when, was really good at tracking fuel mileage...

I've used the fuel consumption apps before. I had one that let you scan the receipt rather than having to manually update the information each time. I'll look for it and then post the name up later.

I've been using fuellog for a couple months and its alright. The only thing is sometimes i forget to add new fuel ups so that greatly messes up my results.

There's one where you can just scan the receipt to input the data??! As in OCR? or do you mean it just has the ability to store an image of the receipt?

I've been using acar.

It's OCR lol. There wouldn't be any point in just taking a picture of your receipt. Wouldn't tell you how many km's you've driven.

Task managers are not needed for android. The os is smart enough to manage the resources on its own.

Stock TouchWiz one. Haven't tried anything else yet. TW4 is actually quite good!

Whatever comes stock with my captivate.
Sometimes, I need to clear the ram because some beta programs misbehave.
Going without a Task Killer is like not having CTRL+ALT+DEL on a computer.

Sure, you might not need it 9/10, but when you do, it'll save you the trouble of having to do a hard reset.
