Haha, don't know about GVRD, but I did this back in May with my wife in Australia. Tons of fun, the first 10 seconds of free-fall are the best. Make sure you get a video to capture your facial expressions!

during free fall you can't even breathe, try not to panic
We jumped from 14,500 ft. It was insane!!!

I'm curious as to the prices over here. In Hawaii it was $150. And our free fall was about 40-50seconds

I was checking prices too and my friend said he paid 100 to do it. But i feel it is anywhere between 100-150 per person.

If you think you'd like to take this up (as in jump semi-regularly), then try to find someone who offers Accelerated Free Fall (AFF).

No skydiving company is going to let a newbie do a solo free-fall and pull their own rip cord - it's all automatically done for you. You will have to do a LOT of jumps before they start to consider letting you do free-fall.

AFF is more expensive since an instructor (or two) will actually jump with you and hang on to you while free-falling so you can get used to it. They'll also let you pull your own rip-cord, and if you freeze up or panic, they'll do it for you. Although the individual jumps are more expensive, you will be able to get to the point of being able to free-fall solo much quicker.

If you're just looking to try it a couple times, then a regular static line jump is OK (where the chute deploys for you shortly after leaving the plane).

I jumped with chilliwack skydiving and it was $175. Jumped from 3k feet and the parachute opened right away.

I had to basically walk out the plane and hold onto the wing and let my self go it was best best time ever!!!

15-20 seconds of free fall only?
That doesn't sound like very long at all.
I just did bungee jumping last month and felt it was too short but an awesome time.

It depends on the height you drop from. But, the problem is many planes are not capable of climbing higher than certain heights. The RSer who jumped from 3000 feet, there would be absolutely no free fall as the parachute must be deployed earlier. I would suggest going at least 10,000 feet to get a decent free fall of about 10-20secs.

Don't wana be an ass, but Google? I just googled it for you and found this:

Pacific Skydivers || Skydiving Center near Vancouver ||

It's in Pitt Meadows. Looks pretty good, they say you can get 40-50 seconds of free fall. That's pretty sweet! I've never done it myself so i have no real experience with this.

Good luck with your search!

Keep in mind, that jumps are dependent on weather conditions. We originally tried to jump from Cairns over the Great Barrier Reef, and was cancelled two days in a row due to rain/wind. We ended up jumping from Byron Bay instead, the view was spectacular! With our Vancouver weather, I'm guessing they must postpone/cancel jumps frequently? We jumped from 14000 feet so we got approximately 40-50 seconds of freefall, but like I said earlier, the first 10 seconds are the best, going from sitting on the plane to sudden freefall There were some people who jumped from lower height of 9000 and 12000 feet and watching them drop away from the plane was pretty freaky! Price for the jump was ~$150-200 can't remember...but where they really get you is with the photo/vid packages, but it was worth it just to see our facial expression

I went to whistler bungee. I ended up paying 150 with pictures.
130 for the jump and 20 for pictures.
After the 1st jump, you're automaticall a "member" so the next jumps are $80 I believe.
