Installing power locks on 2000 toyota corolla So I'm trying to install automatic locks on my 2000 toyota corolla.. problem is after i took off the door panels, there a plastic tube around the rod for the lock [its to prevent slim jims]... how can I bypass this piece of plastic? there is not enough room to cut it off easily. its almost sitting right behind a panel so its hard to get to... any suggestions from people that have worked with this? :fullofwin: |
attach the power door lock motor as far down as possible... i've seen them attached directly to the latch itself... |
